German to English translations [PRO]

Also known as "Blutblase" and one or two other rather uncomplimentary names.
Some context:
Diese LVT (Leicht-Verbrennungs-Triebwagen) der Deutschen Reichsbahn haben erfolgreich die Vorkriegs-Nebenbahnretter "Schweineschnäuzchen" ersetzt. So ist es dann auch nicht weit hergeholt, dass die ehm. 171/172 dann auch den ebenfalls "schweinischen" Namen Ferkeltaxe bekamen. Andererseits fuhren und fahren diese Fahrzeuge vorrangig auf dem Land und da kommen nun mal diese landwirtschaftlichen Tiere - nämlich Schweine, doch häufiger vor. Außerdem wurde gerade auf dem Land alles mögliche transportiert - zumindest zwei Gänse konnte ich zwischen Blumenberg und Schönebeck als "Gepäck" persönlich erleben. |
