Leo supplies a difinition of "schlichten" as "to adjust". I think it makes sense.

Google give lots of hits for inventory adjustment pallet, but only one hit for \"inventory adjustment logic\". Perhaps one could also use \"inventory adjustment model\".

I found quite a few references to default value/quantity for pallets, which is a preset item in the computer system. I think that is what the "Schlichtungslogik" is referring to, a preset or predetermined number of pieces of any given item/packages that fit on this pallet.
