Apparently a novel - and patented - way of stacking parcels. Used, for instance, in the (German) "Packstation" 24-hour parcel mailing and retrieval system.

rotary stacking
Explanation:
Not too sure but there seem to be a couple of sources backing this up, such as

http://www.packexpo.com/ve/34472/news/3072.html
("The WASP, which can be added to new or existing Hudson-Sharp wicketers, employs a robotic transfer system to grasp a stack of bags, then lift and place it on to a preloaded backer board and wicket wire. Using robotic technology saves time and eliminates the packer’s repetitive motion of squeezing and lifting bag stacks. A ***rotary stacking*** wheel replaces the stacking mechanism in the conventional stacking position. This reduces maintenance and provides more secure pin alignment. The standard WASP accumulation conveyor provides pack-off access from both sides of the bag machine.")

("A machine was designed that will remove aluminum fins from a ***rotary stacking*** table and assemble the fins onto aluminum tubes. The assembly will be used to cool power steering fluid in automobiles. A stacking unit was designed to lower the fins into a mechanism that will transfer and locate the fins throughout the assembly operations. The stacking mechanism uses finger-like steel rods to guide the fins into place and separate the stacks of fins from each other.")

I've also searched for "rotation(al) stacking" but hits weren't too convincing.
