Il s'agit de la pose de revêtements de sol.

Fugen trennen Flächen, sie können sich dann unabhängig voneinander bewegen. Bewegungen (horizontal und vertikal) treten auf, wenn Flächen dynamisch und/oder thermisch (Heizung) belastet werden. Deshalb bedingen unterschiedliche Heizkreise bei Fußbodenheizungen eine Fuge. Unterschiedliche Nutzungsarten (z.B. unbeheizter Flur / beheizter Wohnraum) machen eine Fuge nötig. Getrennte Bauteile (z. B. ***Altbestand*** und angesetzter Wintergarten) setzen sich unterschiedlich, auch hier müssen Estriche die Bauteilfuge übernehmen.
