"Bei Sturz- oder Zugbelastung wird der Querstehende Bolzen, in dem sich eine Feder befindet, durch das um ihn herum laufende Seil zum Griff hin gezogen und das Seil dadurch ***abgeklemmt***. Das XY-Sicherungsgerät blockiert beim Sichern, Abseilen oder Ablassen zuverlässig und relativ dynamisch, jedoch darf das Bremsseil trotz alledem nie losgelassen werden."

Je comprends que la corde est arrêtée, stoppée, mais tous les dictionnaires que je consulte donnent une toute autre signification de "abklemmen".
