je n'arrive pas à formuler cela de manière élégante. C'est pour un courrier commercial.
La phrase complète "Der Brauch des Schenkens ist grundsätzlich der Wunsch, etwas fom Guten weiterzugeben, das einem widerfahren ist".

Une formulation littérale du type "transmettre quelque chose qui nous est arrivé" ne me satisfait guère...
