German term or phrase: tradieren

Findet der feine Sinn für das Abstrakte und für Symmetrie seine Ursprünge in dem Reservoir mentaler Abbilder früherer Entwicklungsstadien, die das kulturelle Gedächtnis der Menschen in Südosteuropa seit Jahrtausenden tradiert hat?

Meine Frage: "..., die...tradiert hat" : cela se rapporte à un sujet féminin singulier, or il n'y en a pas. A quoi se rapporte donc cette partie de la phrase? Wer hat das Gedächtnis (...) tradiert?

Explanation:
Das "die" bezieht sich auf die Entwicklungsstadien, das "tradiert hat" auf das kulturelle Gedächtnis, darum steht das Verb im Singular. So würde ich den Satz auch verstehen.
