Το κάταγμα «επιπεπλεγμένο αμφισφύριο κάταγμα δεξιά», ενώ στην αρχή φάνηκε να είναι απλό, δημιούργησε επιπλοκές λόγω του υποκείμενου σακχαρώδη διαβήτη, «ο κλινικός και εργαστηριακός έλεγχος έδειξε βαριά ισχαιμία στο άκρο, σχετιζόμενη με την περιφερειακή διαβητική αγγειοπάθεια»

Ob das erstere oder zweitere zutrifft, lässt sich nur aus demKontext erkennen. ; Malleolus medialis ist der Schienbeinknöchel, Malleollus lateralis ist der Wadenbeinknöchel. Hier scheint allerdings eine BIMALLEOLARE KNÖCHELFRAKTUR mit Malleolengabelsprengung vorzuliegen. Dies entspricht dem engl. Terminus MORTICE FRACTURE; dIE MALLEOLENGABEL ist dieKnöchelgabel, die vom Malleolus medialis und lateralis sowie vom unteren Schienbeinende gebildete Gelenkgabel für das obere Sprunggelenk
