Der Basisfallwert (aus dem Englischen: Baserate) ist ein Begriff aus dem Gesundheitswesen und bezeichnet den Betrag, der bei der Berechnung der DRG-Preise (Diagnosis Related Groups) für die Krankenhausbehandlung zugrunde gelegt wird.
Zur Berechnung des Preises für die Krankenhausbehandlung wird die Bewertungsrelation der DRG mit dem Basisfallwert multipliziert.
