Buongiorno a tutti,
in una traduzione su articoli per belle arti mi trovo ora in una parte sugli strumenti per scultura e intaglio.
Si parla di scalpelli, sgorbie ecc. e compare sempre il termine *Stich* seguito da un numero e a volte da una lettera, che credo indichi lo spessore della punta.
Alcuni esempi:

Stich 11 Hohl-Eisen
Stich 7 Hohlbeitel flach
Stich 8 Hohlbeitel tief
Stich 7L - Hohlbeitel flach, längs gekröpft.
Stich 1S Schnitzbeitel schräg
Stich 1E Schnitzbeitel gerade, einseitiger Schliff


E così via.
Qualcuno esperto nel settore sa dirmi se c'è un termine specifico per tradurre *Stich*?
Avevo pensato a *profilo*, oppure semplicemente *punta*...
