Der Leichtmetall-Zylinderblock kommt ohne separate Laufbuchsen aus. Die Buchsen werden in einem dreistufigen Prozess rein mechanisch aus dem Material gehont – dieser Prozess vollzieht gegenüber konventionellen Verfahren sehr umweltfreundlich.
Die nur 5,5 mm starken ***Stege*** zwischen den Zylindern tragen Kühlbohrungen.
