Ein grundlegender Vorteil der ***Standortkonsolidierung*** zeigt sich bei der Assemblierung von Kolben – also der Bestückung der Kolben mit den entsprechenden Kolbenringen – und der Konfektionierung von Ringsätzen.
Da beide Prozessketten nun in (Ort) durchgeführt werden, kann auf die gleichen Einzelringe zugegriffen werden.
Dadurch werden die Lagerbestände und somit auch die Verfügbarkeit entscheidend optimiert.
