Baugrundstück:
Grundstück, das nach öffentlich-rechtlichen Vorschriften mit Gebäuden bebaubar oder bebaut ist. Dabei wird unterschieden in nicht erschlossene, teilerschlossene und voll erschlossene Baugrundstücke.

Baugrund:
Im allgemeinen derjenige Teil der Erdkruste, der im Einflußbereich der zu errichtenden Bauwerke liegt. Er kann aus Felsgestein (Festgestein) oder aus unverfestigtem Boden (Lockergestein) bestehen. Zwischen diesen beiden Gesteinsarten gibt es zahllose Übergänge.
