Dall'inglese sembrerebbe senz'altro regolatore del volume, ma in tedesco bisognerebbe vedere il contesto. Letteralmente "sensibilità/risposta" e suono/audio/fono.

Ho trovato distinti tono/sensibilità/volume...

Se è un comando non può andare bene, ma senza contesto... rimarrei sul letterario.

"Sensibilità audio" ha una certa incidenza su google...
