"Polizeifilter ist ein Begriff aus der Verfahrenstechnik. Er ist einem anderen Filter (oder einer Reihe von filternden Abscheidern) nachgeschaltet und übernimmt dessen Reinigungsfunktion, falls dieser - zum Beispiel aufgrund einer Beschädigung - nicht mehr dazu in der Lage ist. Der Polizeifilter hat somit lediglich eine sichernde Funktion[1]. Bei der Gasreinigung werden häufig Aktivkohleadsorber als Polizeifilter eingesetzt, da sie aufgrund ihrer Struktur nicht nur adsorptiv, sondern auch filternd wirken können." - ma come si chiama in italiano?
