Explanation:
è il target fornito dal Marolli, ed è confermato dallo Zingarelli che, per gorgogliare, dice: (chim) di gas quando viene fatto passare in un liquido e lo attraversa in forma di bollicine.

Il Duden illustrato dice "fumigazione" ma non credo sia adatto in questo campo; per quanto strano, pare che "gorgogliamento" sia corretto in questo caso
