Explanation:
ingegnere (I) = Diplomingenieur (D), è quindi qualcuno che ha fatto almeno 5 anni (o 10 semestri in Germania) di Università

Ingenieur (D) = tecnico (I) qualcuno cioè che NON ha alcun titolo universitario; corrisponde perciò a un 'tecnico' italiano, vale a dire a un diplomato degli nostri istituti tecnici, nel tuo caso del'ITA - anche se naturalmente i due sistemi scolastici (e universitari) sono molto diversi
