Im Zusammenhang mit Bikes und Tiki fällt einem zuallererst wohl Indian Larrys berühmtes Tiki-Bike ein. Das hatte der leider tödlich verunglückte Stuntman und Chopperbauer zu Ehren seiner Frau Bambi gebaut. Denn die hat eine große Vorliebe für die mittlerweile zum Kult gewordenen Südseedevotionalien. Eben jene Dinge, die die amerikanische Trivialkultur der späten Fünfziger durch das Aufgreifen von Elementen des polinesischen Ahnenkult hervorgebracht hatte. *Dem ein oder anderen dürften nun gleich mehrere von den Fragezeichen in den Augen stehen, die in Form des Indian-Larry-Signets auch das Rücklicht der Maschine bilden.*

Non riesco a capire bene il testo della frase tra asterischi. Qualche idea? (Ovviamente non mi serve la traduzione, ho solo bisogno di capire il senso). Grazie!
