E' un brevetto su un tester di circuiti stampati. La frase (semplificata) dice:
Die Vorrichtung weist eine Kontaktplatte auf, die vorzugsweise als Padfeldplatte mit mehreren Padfeldern ausgebildet ist. Die Padfelder sind Goldplättchen, die einen guten Kontakt gewährleisten.
Nella traduzione inglese usa il termine "pad field", in quella francese "pastille". Non riesco a trovare niente in italiano.

Explanation:
Il dizionario di microelettronica della Kluwer per "pad" mi dà "superficie di contatto". Però in italiano è usatissimo anche l'inglese "pad".

Grazie mille! Metterò piazzola perché nei brevetti è meglio evitare i termini stranieri. Già che ci sono segnalo anche questo glossario che ho trovato nel frattempo:

Explanation:
Il dizionario di microelettronica della Kluwer per "pad" mi dà "superficie di contatto". Però in italiano è usatissimo anche l'inglese "pad".
