Se, come sembra, si tratta di un pezzo collocato su un mandrino che può ruotare su tre assi (X, Y, Z).
anche 'asse di azionamento' per restare un po' più sul generico, dipende ovviamente dal tipo di macchina.

Explanation:
In base alla mia esperienza diretta sulle macchine per la lavorazione del legno, si tratta di una parte della macchina che si muove andandosi a posizionare sul pezzo da lavorare, mentre dalla parte opposta si trova la spalla fissa, su cui viene appoggiato il pezzo.

in ogni caso ci sarà un pezzo da lavorare, da tenere fermo in modo che lo Spindel lo lavori...questa funzione la svolge appunto la spalla mobile, Anfahren sta ad indicare il movimento di avvicinamento dell'asse o spalla al pezzo...però mi rimetto al parere di altri colleghi!
