Hängelifte stellen eine gute Alternative zu anderen Liftarten dar, besonders dann wenn die Treppenbreite oder die Bauweise der Treppe den Einbau herkömmlicher Treppenlifte nicht mehr gestattet. Gerade bei sehr engen, steilen oder kurvigen Treppen ist der Einbau eines Hängeliftes sehr zu empfehlen.
Im Gegensatz zum Plattform- oder Sitzlift wird der Lift bzw. seine Schienen oder Stangen hier nicht an der Wand oder auf der Treppe platziert. Vielmehr wird eine ***Schiene an die Decke gebaut***.
