Non trovo un'espressione che mi convinca veramente, comunque vorrei provare a dare un aiutino: dovrebbe trattarsi di una catena (Kette) di persone che vengono chiamate/informate nel caso in cui si verifichi un'emergenza, ad es. l'infermiera X avvertirà la caporeparto Y... Il termine tedesco si utilizza non solo in ambito medico, ma anche uando in una ditta occorre informare dei responsabili che a loro volta avvertiranno altri, se non sbaglio.
