Penso che anche la risposta data da Danila sia giusta, molto probabilmente si tratta di un ecocolorDoppler, visto che si fa rifermento a flussi carotidei. Ma se vuoi rimanere neutrale sul termine non definendo geschallt col macchinario utilizzato, penso che "area ecografata" possa essere un'altra possibile soluzione.
