VIRGINIA. Il tabacco più usato per le miscele, coltivato in varie nazioni. Tenore elevato di zuccheri e oli essenziali gli conferiscono sapore zuccherino e notevole profumo. Essiccato con metodo flue curing, fermenta in botti e viene maturato per 2-3 anni prima della lavorazione.
