Im Unterschied zu anderen europäischen Ländern, ist bei uns die Nahversorgung noch flächendeckend gegeben. Auf 1000 Bewohner fallen 16 Geschäfte, während in Bayern z.B. auf 1000 Einwohner nur 1 Geschäft fällt. Der Grund für die lückenlose Nahversorgung liegt einerseits in der starken touristischen Nachfrage und andererseits in der restriktiven Wirtschaftspolitik gegenüber großen Einkaufszentren. Im städtischen Raum jedoch lassen sich erste Konzentrationstendenzen durch die Ansiedlung von Supermarktketten feststellen.

io direi....su mille abitanti si contano 16 negozi...mentre a Bayern per esempio su 1000 abitanti si conta solamente uno.
