Das Kind macht auch Erfahrungen mit Bewegung vor den Augen, Schmerzgefühl im Mund, ohne dabei andere Körpererfahrungen zu haben. Denken wir an ein Mobile oder einen Beißring. Durch endlose Wiederholung lernt es hierbei den Unterschied zwischen "Ich" (Hand) und "Nicht-Ich" (Mobile, Beißring) Kennen.
