neutral  Zea_Mays: Pesach è la Pasqua ebraica, hai ragione. Tuttavia il Pesach-Mahl (pasto rituale) in questione è una tradizione (cattolico-)austriaca ricalcata sugli usi ebraici. ;-) / ma oggi dove ho la testa? scusa, ho di nuovo premuto invia prima del tempo.

neutral  Zea_Mays: È probabile che si chiami Pesachmahl per distinguerlo dalla Pasqua cristiana, che ha altro significato rispetto alla Pasqua ebraica. In questo caso si fa riferimento all'Ultima Cena e alla Passione. / (scusa ho premuto per sbaglio invia)

Cena di "Pesach"


Explanation:
Usanza cristiana, di origine ebraica (Pesach), per ricordare l'Ultima Cena - ha luogo prima della Domenica di Pasqua. (esiste anche una Messa in Coena Domini - Messa della Cena del Signore).

"Neu ist zweifellos, was Jesu über das Brot und den Weinbecher gesagt hat. Aber er hat es im Rahmen eines jüdischen Mahles getan, das wohl ein Pesachmahl war, also ein Ostermahl. (...)Zwischen dem Brot, das Jesus bricht, und dem Becher, den er reicht, ist das eigentliche Abendmahl, das Pesachmahl. (...)
Was ist der Rahmen, in dem sich das alles abspielt? Es wird ein wenig, sogar viel darüber diskutiert, ob dieses Abschiedsmahl Jesu das Pesachmahl war oder nicht. (...)Es gibt verschiedene Deutungen.
Sicher ist, dass dieses Mahl Jesu im Rahmen des Osterfestes in Jerusalem stattgefunden hat. An diesem Osterfest ist Jerusalem mit Pilgern erfüllt, man schätzt, dass bis zu 100.000 Pilger in Jerusalem sein konnten, eine unvorstellbare Menge aus ganz Israel und aus der Diaspora. Der Höhepunkt war das Pesachmahl und dann das Osterfest im Tempel selbst, so lange er bestand. "

Mahl è pasto (cena, pranzo); si può dire "pasquale" ma ha luogo prima di Pasqua.

Essendo un'usanza (locale), andrebbe mantenuto il nome originale, che in italiano è Cena di Pesach (o Pasto di Pesach) - nonostante l'ambito cattolico. ;-)

Aggiungo una nota

In questo caso si rievoca l'Ultima Cena (che alcuni ritengono sia stata una cena di Pesach, un Pesachmahl - il motivo per cui quest'usanza è così chiamata).
"Pasqua" per i cristiani è la festa della Resurrezione, e si riferisce solo alla domenica.
Il periodo precedente è Quaresima, quindi forse si può anche usare quaresimale, ma queste di solito sono Fastenspeisen.

agree  Alessandra Carboni Riehn: grazie delle spiegazioni Zea, non avendo molto contesto non potevo immaginare che si parlasse di un'usanza cattolica così chiamata. Io in Italia non avevo mai sentito parlare di una "cena di Pesach", se lo avessi letto sarei stata perplessa...
