agree  AdamiAkaPataflo: preciso (anche se forse ci potrebbe stare una "dottrina della salvezza" - il testo non mi pare per "adepti"... :-))

neutral  Matthias Quaschning-Kirsch: Das Wort ist abgeleitet von gr. sotér, "Erlöser". Eine solche Gestalt gibt es aber im Buddhismus nicht. Soteriologie ist ein spezifisch christlicher Begriff, der sich so nicht auf andere Religionen übertragen läßt.

nel buddismo si parla di "liberazione" dal ciclo delle rinascite, dalla sofferenza (o anche con pataflo di "salvezza")

Una definizione del buddhismo potrebbe essere quella di dottrina di liberazione e di "salvezza"...
