Über den Wagenübergang (innerhalb eines Pendels) werden zwei Systemkabel [9] geführt. In jedem Kabel ist auch eine Ethernetleitung vorhanden. Somit gibt es pro Zwischenwagen zwei Ethernet-Verbindungen vom WE1 zum WE2.
