German term or phrase: Vorbetrieben

Mam tekst po angielsku, ktorego fragment jest ewidentnie tłumaczeniem z niemieckiego, z poniższych "zasad".
Słowo "Vorbetrieben" przetłumaczono jako "from his own pre-commissioning". Czyli "rozruch próbny". Mój tekst jest jednak raczej o różnych rozliczeniach księgowych, ekspertyzach naukowych, nic technicznego. Czy więc może być pomyłka w przekładzie z niemieckiego na angielski?
