Cechy systemu do odprowadzania spalin ze stali, od myślinika, m. in. "metallisch dichtend". Myślę, że chodzi tutaj o łączenie ze sobą poszczególnych elementów systemu.

Czy zastosowanie pojęcia "połączenie samouszczelniające" będzie w porządku, czy macie jakieś inne propozycje?

PS. Jest co prawda kilka trafień "uszczelnienie metaliczne", ale to chyba kalka...

W żadnym wypadku nie "samouszczelniające" - to wcale nie wynika z tekstu!

Nie bardzo to sobie wyobrażam, ale w takim razie "połączenie samouszczelniające" ma sens (chociaż raczej winno być: "połączenie samouszczelniające się"). Zwróćmy jednak uwagę, że termin "metalisch dichtend" nie mówi o braku uszczelek, a o tym mianowicie, że szczelność komina zapewniona jest przez współpracujące powierzchnie metalowe. Może więc tak: "uszczelnienie przez dopasowanie powierzchni styku elementów metalowych" - w tym duchu.

Asker: To nie to. Problem w tym, że tam właśnie nie ma żadnych uszczelek. Kolejne rury komina o specjalnie ukształtowanym kielichu wsuwa się w siebie, dobija młotkiem i gotowe.
