Niestety nie mogę znaleźć słowa "Natriumoctansulfonat" nigdzie w Internecie ani w moich źródłach. Być może chodzi tu o octanosulfonian sodu albo o okatnosulfonian sodu - nie mam pewności.
Link podaje odsyłacz do tekstu, zawierającego słowa "sulfonian" i "sodu", natommiast poszukiwanie obu tych słów z "oktan" nie daje żadnych wyników. Dołączenie "octan" odsyła również do tej strony

neutral  Uwe Kirmse: Na pewno nie "octanosulfonian", bo polski octan to po niemiecku Azetat. Chyba nawet niemiecka nazwa jest bardziej angielska. Ewentualnie "oktanosulfonian".

agree  Jerzy Czopik: genau - "octan" = "Azetat", und "Oktan" kann auch wahlweise mit "c" geschrieben werden
