Bei der Methodenkompetenz geht es um die Fertigkeit, Fragestellungen systematisch anzugehen und zu lösen. Dies gilt insbesondere für komplexe Probleme, zu deren Lösung das reine Fachwissen oder der "gesunde Menschenverstand" nicht mehr ausreichen.
Die meisten Methoden lassen sich gut erlernen und anwenden. Daran ist noch keine Methode gescheitert.
