Para as atividades relacionadas com o processamento de superfície possuímos uma infraestrutura composta de equipamentos de nitretação/oxidação por plasma por tensão contínua, pulsada e gaiola catódica. Equipamento para deposição por cátodo oco e magnetron sputtering e tocha de plasma. Para caracterização, contamos com microscópios ópticos com análise de imagens, microdurômetro, goniômetro para medida do ângulo de contato de gota séssil e calo-teste.
