O Ernst apresenta "levantamento de aparas" para este termo, o que soa bastante esquisito, principalmente quando se observa o contexto abaixo: é uma atividade tão genérica quanto "Montage" e "Instandhaltung", ao contrário de "levantamento de aparas", que, no mínimo, soa a algo bastante específico.
