Die Kühlwalzen (4101) sollen die durch den Kalandriervorgang im Walzenspalt erwärmte Vliesbahn soweit abkühlen, dass eine problemlose Weiterverarbeitung erfolgen kann.
Kalandermaschinen bzw. -anlagen mit einer Hot S-Roll (2201) als Unterwalze und einer wechselweise einschwenkbaren Gravurwalze (2204) im Bereich Wareneinlauf und einer wechselweise einschwenkbaren Gravurwalze (2204) im Bereich Warenauslauf als Oberwalze dienen zur Verfestigung sowie zur Veredelung von Vliesenbahnen. |
