Medical - Medical: Dentistry / Instrument | | German term or phrase: Finierung | Der XXX-Kopf kann in Abhängigkeit von der eingesetzten Feile zur Finierung von Kastenpräparation, zur Abschrägung bei Kompositfüllungen und In-/Onlays, für das Randfinish bei Kronenpräparationen sowie für die Abtragung von groben, proximalen Füllungsflächen und Kronenrändern eingesetzt werden.
Nach langer Suche konnte ich eine Erklärung für den Begriff im Zusammenhang mit der Herstellung von Papier finden:
Finierung: ist eine spezielle Nachbehandlung, eine Verdichtung der Oberfläche. Sie ermöglicht eine höhere Passergenauigkeit, da das Papier nach beiden Seiten gestreckt wurde.
Ansonsten kommt er oft in der Zahnmedizin vor, ohne genauere Erklärung, worum genau es dabei geht.

| Grading comment Cheguei a ver as Feilen, são umas lixas (tiras) de papel, normalmente usadas entre os dentes. Na verdade, não servem para polir, mais para lixar asperezas ou aumentar espaços interdentais. Muito obrigada!
