Die Werkrealschule ist eine Spezialität Baden-Württemberg. Es bezeichnet eigentlich eine Hauptschule, die es begabten Hauptschülern ermöglicht, in einem 10. freiwilligen Hauptschuljahr die Mittlere Reife zu erlangen, indem sie an zusätzlichen Unterrichtsangeboten teilnehmen. Als Werkrealschule werden dabei sowohl die Hauptschulen bezeichnet, die nur das freiwillige 10. Schuljahr anbieten dürfen, als auch solche, in denen ab der 8. Klasse der erforderliche Zusatzunterricht angeboten wird. |
