Din descrierea de acolo, ma gandesc ca este vorba de un utilaj de aplicat canturi, dar nu sunt sigura. Schuh in general se traduce ca sabot. Tastschuh se refera la faptul ca acest "schuh" face procesul de "abtasten", adica parcurgerea suprafetei pentru a detecta ceva (prin analogie cu alti compusi care il contin pe "Tast-" - de ex.
