German term or phrase: Unsere gewonnenen Jahre
Es handelt sich hier um den Titel. Es geht um den demographischen Wandel und die damit einhergehende Alterung der Bevölkerung, die in vielen Industriegesellschaften als etwas Bedrohliches angesehen wird.

Weiter im Text:
Die „gewonnenen Jahre“ bieten eine Chance, die Balance zwischen den Inaktiven und Aktiven zu verschieben. Die Definition, von wann an ein Mensch zu den „Älteren“ gehört, muss überprüft werden.

Ich hatte an "ani suplimentari de viaţă" gedacht. Denke aber es gibt bessere und treffendere Varianten.

Ar fi mai multe variante de traducere. Am putea inversa un slogan bine cunoscut :"Să dăm ani vieţii şi viaţă, anilor." pentru a sublinia ideea de ani suplimentari care înseamnă viaţă activă.

Explanation:
Ist eine wortwörtliche Übersetzung- und klingt auch genauso ungewöhnlich wie die DE- Originalvariante.

Ich meine, als Titel wäre es tauglich! Als Formulierung ist ja auch die DE Fassung total unüblich- und macht den Leser ggf. neugierig, im Gegensatz zu "verlorene Jahre"
