It is called back burning because the small fires are designed to 'burn back towards the main fire front'. The basic reason for back burning is so that there is little material that can burn when the main fire reaches the burnt area. The firebreaks that may be used to start a line of fires along could be a river, road or a bulldozed clearing etc.[3],

De fapt metoda de a retragere arderea spre focar este în sine o măsură de protecție pentru ca ulterior focul care ajunge in zona arsă (prin retragerea focului) să nu existe suficient material de ardere și să se oprească . Cel puțin așa înțeleg eu conceptul. Nu știu însă dacă "Schutz" se traduce în contextul tău prin protecție de incendiu cu ajutorul metodei de retragere a focului către focar sau protecție contra...<b/>
Asta trebuie să decizi tu în funcție de context. |
