Stand der Technik, wie er beispielsweise in US 4 371 480 A und in DE 92 01 820 U1 beschrieben ist, gibt es Rühranordnungen, bei welchen Gas vom Rührorgan angesaugt wird. Demgegenüber gibt es Rühranordnungen mit "Fremdbegasung", was bedeutet, dass das Gas nicht vom Rührorgan angesaugt wird, sondern von einem Gebläse oder Verdichter oder aus einem Druckspeicher zugeführt wird. Es folgen einige Beispiele für solche bekannten Rühranordnungen.
