1. Wirkung gegen Lipase : Die enzymatische Wirkung von „Propionibacterium acnes" trägt viel zu den Problemen und Entzündungen bei fettiger Haut bei. Diese Bakterien scheiden nämlich eine Lipase aus, welche die Triglyceride des Talgs auflöst und dabei Fettsäuren freisetzt, die zu Reizungen führen. Phlorogine wirkt spezifisch auf diesen die Entzündungen begünstigenden Prozess, indem die Funktion der Lipase gehemmt und die Bildung von freien Fettsäuren und Prostaglandinen verhindert wird.
