Povečini velik podolgovat mešalnik, ki svojo vsebino meša s polžem in hkrati transportira v določeno smer. Pojavlja se tudi izraz kontinualni, nekateri pa takšni zadevi rečejo preprosto konti-mešalec. Za podrobnejšo razlago in obilo slik poguglaj "continuous mixer".

Po drugi strani pa je pisec morda v glavi imel preprosto nek mešalnik, ki meša 24/7 in je zato "continuous"; velja preveriti kontekst.
