Asker: Danke. Das "señal de retorno" ist mir durchaus bekannt. Ich dachte halt, vielleicht gibt es ein nettes Verb, das etwas weniger umständlich ist, als "mandar una señal de retorno".....

El equipo de expansión no necesita una señal de retroaviso para conectarse/comunicarse a la unidad base a través del puente (enchufable).

Creo entender que se trata de una señal de notificación a la base de que ese equipo "existe" y nada más.
