Gracias. Es la respuesta más correcta a mis preguntas. Aunque en mi texto al final opté por poner sencillamente "rumbo"... lo que el contexto dado permitía.

"anpeilen" kann man auch als "arrumbar" oder "localizar" übersetzen, es hängt davon ab, auf wen oder was es sich bezieht.
Mehr fällt mir dazu nicht ein...

Asker: Es geht nicht um Seefahrt, aber der Begriff müsste derselbe sein, da es um die Handhabung des Kompasses geht. Bei Orientierung mit dem Kompass, zumindest bei Land, peilte man früher bestimmte Landmarken an, um z.B. anhand der dadurch ermittelten Richtungen die eigene Position auf der Landkarte zu bestimmen. Ich denke mit dem Astrolabium auf See war das ähnlich, nur peilte man dort Sterne als Referenzpunkte an... Heute mit GPS ist das natürlich alles überflüssig geworden... En resúmen, peilen ist sowas wie "zielen", nur nicht mit einer Waffe, sondern mit einem Orientierungsinstrument. Weisst Du den terminus?

Asker: Sí, tambien es Anpeilung (eso al menos es el acto, la "Anpeilung", el resultado de la medición luego es la "Peilung"). Muchas gracias, lo miro en google y os digo...
