No entiendo muy bien el significado de "Ereignis" en esta frase. Ahí va el contexto.

Er ist nur bei Verzug zu verzinsen, wobei die Mitteilung des Notars vereinbarungsgemäß kein Ereignis im Sinne von § 286 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 BGB sein soll.
