Estoy traduciendo un manual de uso de una silla para cirujanos y en las condiciones de uso dice lo siguiente:

Der Betrieb in Gegenwart von brennbaren Narkosemitteln und flüchtigen Lösungsmitteln wie Alkohol ist verboten.

¿Cómo se traduciría Narkosemitteln? ¿Sustancias anestésicas?

No, no es del todo correcto lo que dices, Montse, el DRAE dice:

2. adj. Que produce o causa anestesia. U. t. c. s. m.

"U. t. c. s. m." quiere decir "usado/a también como sustantivo masculino". Así que todo está bien. :)

Asker: Sí, eso es lo que había pensado pero he buscado en el DRAE y por anestésico me aparece solamente en calidad de adjetivo, no como substantivo, y eso me hizo dudar. No obstante, el diccionario no lo sabe todo, gracias :-)
