Esta construcción figura en el mismo texto de autoayuda del que ya había hablado.

Me parece que algo podría faltar aquí. ¿No debería ser JEMANDES FREUND SEIN en genitivo o EIN FREUND VON JEMANDEM sein en dativo?

De ahí que no esté muy seguro de cómo pueda reexpresarlo en castellano.
