El investigador (que sobreactúa tanto que hasta choca...) mira la pantalla del monitor (hay unos puntos que el investigador afirma son organismos y todo tipo de bacterias) y dice:
Da bin ich aber schon gespannt, was das ist. Schauen Sie, ein Verzagter.

Vamos, uno que ha perdido el ánimo y por lo tanto se ha retrasado...

Según el Amador:
verzagen: desmayar, desanimarse, achicarse, amedrantarse, apocarse, acobardarse, acoquinarse, amilanarse, desconsolarse, arredrarse, descorazonarse, alebrarse, (fig.) flaquear

Vamos, que hay donde elegir... ;-)
